Dane Fossee

FOUNDER

Dane founded 191 Real Estate in 2013 as the country was coming out of the great recession. Prior to 191 Real Estate, Dane founded, owned and operated General Shredding, an on-site document destruction, hard drive destruction and electronics recycling company. He grew the company from zero to over 1,200 clients. The company was acquired by a strategic buyer in 2014. Notable clients at the time of sale included Wayne State University, Selfridge Air National Guard, Art Van Furniture, United Auto Workers and Wayne County.

In addition to 191 Real Estate Dane is a partner in Zeppelin Cleaning Services. A janitorial, air duct cleaning and carpet cleaning company that services Southeast Michigan.

Dane has a degree in finance from Wayne State University. He is a member of the Detroit Athletic Club and The Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, boating and playing squash.

Brendan Fossee

Brendan has been involved with 191 Real Estate since day one. In addition to Brendan’s responsibilities at 191 Real Estate, he runs a commercial financing company and a residential mortgage brokerage. Brendan graduated with a degree in finance from the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University.

Trina Scamehorn

Trina is 191 Real Estate’s controller. She is responsible for all accounting and bookkeeping. She works closely with our third party CPAs to ensure 100% accuracy and precision.
